Message to all Sequential Circuits instrument owners:
It has been 45 years since musicians first experienced the programmable polyphonic sounds of a Prophet-5, and 40 years since the Prophet 600 introduced MIDI to the world. The synthesizers, samplers, and sequencers designed & built by Sequential Circuits influenced music, film, and theatre over the course of several decades.
My work with Sequential Circuits began in August of 1981, and continued through Wine Country since 1987. Keeping the Prophet sound alive has always been the goal of Wine Country Sequential, for what has been a long and interesting journey. However, it is now time to pull the plug & do something else. Wine Country Sequential will discontinue operations on December 31, 2023. We will remain open for business providing technical service & repair for the rest of this year. Sales of all Sequential Circuits parts, documents, and support currently available to help your Prophets survive the years ahead ends in 2023.
