Terms of Sale for international shipments via USPS valued under $90 ship FCA ("Free Carrier") unless specified otherwise. FCA means the seller pays for carriage, and the risk transfers to buyer upon handing the merchandise over to USPS for delivery.
USA buyer's merchandise valued under $90 ship FOB (Free On Board) via USPS unless specified otherwise, and the responsibility and costs for the merchandise shifts from the seller to the buyer upon handing the goods over to USPS.
For any merchandise valued at $90 or more the cost of shipping as listed includes insurance. When shipping CIF (“Cost, Insurance and Freight”) the seller (Wine Country) is responsible for the costs and risks until the goods reach the buyer's designated location.
