Solid State Music (SSM) was unable to deliver SSM2040 VCF ICs.

NOS #R-234 10K Control Panel Pot $20
Install a threaded bushing onto an NOS #R-234 pot to replace a broken #R-221 pot.
An #R-221 is the 10K linear control panel pot found in all Revision 3 Prophet-5s. It has a nylon shaft and a threaded bushing to secure each pot to the control panel with a nut. With the exception of NOT having a threaded bushing, the #R-234 10K linear pot used in the Prophet 600 is virtually the same as the #R-221 pot. The threaded bushing removed from a bad #R-221 pot can be mounted over the shaft of an NOS #R-234 pot and secured with 4 metal tabs as in the picture below.
An NOS #R-234 pot modified with a threaded bushing replaces a Rev3 Prophet-5 #R-221 pot.
